About
Built for the businesses that hold a place together.
Next Wave is a small studio, deliberately. You work directly with the person doing the work, and nothing gets handed to a junior team after the sales call.
Our mission
Success is whatever our clients grew.
Small businesses are the backbone of our communities. They sponsor the team, plow the street, pour the coffee, and stay open when the chain store closes at eight. We exist to help them attract more customers, strengthen their brands, and increase revenue through strategic branding, beautiful websites, and marketing systems that create repeat business.
Every engagement gets a ledger: the handful of numbers we agreed the work should move. Calls booked, quotes requested, bookings taken, average ticket, repeat rate. If those do not move, the project did not work — regardless of how the site looks.
Principles
Six things we do not negotiate.
Fixed price, quoted before we start
Scope is defined in the proposal and the number does not move unless you change what you are asking for. No hourly surprises.
You own everything
Domain, hosting account, analytics, source files, logo files and code. If you ever want to leave, you leave with all of it.
Speed and accessibility are requirements
Not upsells. Every build ships responsive, keyboard-navigable, screen-reader sane, and fast on a phone with two bars.
AI drafts, a human decides
We use AI heavily for research, audits and first drafts. Nothing reaches a client without review by a person who is accountable for it.
We will tell you not to buy
If a rebuild will not pay for itself, we say so on the first call and suggest the cheaper fix instead. It costs us projects. It is still correct.
No lock-in, ever
Retainers are month to month. Your site keeps working if you cancel. We would rather earn the next month than trap you into it.
Who you will work with
An operator, not an account manager.
Next Wave is led by Collin, a CFA charterholder who spent fifteen-plus years doing pricing, budgeting and profitability strategy inside a large professional-services firm before turning that lens on small business.
That background shows up in the work. Offers get priced against real margin. Campaigns get modeled before they get printed. Route density gets calculated before a flyer is designed. And “growth” means a number you can find on a bank statement, not a slide.
The design and development are done in house, hands on keyboard. The same person on your discovery call writes your copy and ships your code.
That is the whole argument for this firm. A design agency will make it look right without knowing whether it makes money. A consultant will tell you what to sell and hand you a deck. Doing both means the analysis and the build cannot contradict each other, because one person is accountable for the number at the end.
How we are different
Three comparisons worth making.
vs. a website builder
A template gets you online in a weekend and caps you there. It cannot be made fast, it cannot be made distinctive, and the SEO ceiling arrives quickly. If a template genuinely fits your business, we will tell you to use one.
vs. a large agency
You get senior attention because there is no one else to hand it to. No account layer, no monthly minimum designed around their payroll, no six-week wait to change a phone number.
vs. a freelancer
Freelance design and freelance strategy are different purchases, and most businesses need both. Here they arrive together, priced as one number, with the business math done first.
Start with a conversation.
Thirty to sixty minutes, no charge, no pitch deck. You leave with a plan and a fixed-price proposal — whether or not you hire us.
